My bow thruster performance had started to degrade over time. The problem turned out to be the motor brushes were seized in their track and eventually lacked contact to the motor commutator. After a call to vetus for a service refferal led me to EC Ruff marine services which was able to rebuild the motor. Here is their contact info in case anyone else needs vetus thruster work done.
