An AOG milestone

Hey all,

I just happened to look at the forum stats at the bottom of the main page and this brief note should be the 5000th post on AOG!

Thought I'd take a moment to publicly thank John and Pete (Mariner) for their efforts in providing this invaluable, informative (and fun!) resource to the Albin community.

You're welcome. The thanks should really be directed towards John, who finances the site himself and who set it up to begin with.

Thanks! As I mentioned in the beginning. Having had i/o's all my life with gas engines, it all seemed a little overwhelming. But, I have learned, that a single-diesel-inboard is not quite as daunting as I thought it would be. Still can't back into a slip like I used to, but who cares? When the bay is snotty I'm still going boating.
The information I gain is well worth the time, effort and energy. AND...I have met alot of nice folks.
Looking forward to next weekend.

My thanks to John and Pete for such a great site. This is the first site I go to every day when I turn on my computer. I look forward to reading the posts from all our members.
