Albin 25 Fuel Efficiency?

Post by Bert »

Just wondering what fuel efficiency you folks are getting with the various engines? Thanks, I realize it varies with wind and sea state, looking for ball park averages at 6 to 8 knots or whatever cruising speed you enjoy.

Older 1971 full displacement style hull (not to be confused with later model & faster semi-displacement deluxe versions). Re-powered with '86 24HP Yanmar 3GM30F engine, 6.5 kt cruising speed @ 2,300 RPM, 0.5 GPH. Somewhat less consumption if running at 2,000 RPM or less & under 6 kts.
