Thanks to all the Albin owners out there for sharing info on this board!!!

This is a tremendous resouce and I've found lots of tips and suggestions.

We are about 30 days or so from taking delivery of a new, 2007 TE 28, "Kyra Marin".

I have a picture of a TE 28 sitting on my desk, and every day I picture the cockpit of this beautiful boat splattered with Tuna blood :)

Best to all,
Chad

Welcome aboard Chad!

And congratulations on the new boat! You'll have to give us a complete run down (and pictures are always good too!)

Where will you be finding those tuna? (Which is another way of saying - where do you boat out of!) I'm still looking for my first, but not too hard.

We'll do!

She'll be slipped at Shelter Island - San Diego, CA.

Weather forecasters are saying we are most likely looking at La Nina conditions for May thru July... cooler water for Bluefin and Albacore :)

Good luck on boating that first Bluefin, they are tasty.

We are taking delivery of our Albin 28 TE - Time Out- next week....and can't wait! You are right about the info that is posted here - it was priceless during the seatrial and surveys. You should have seen the look on the engine surveyors face when the wife brought up starting difficulties because of the clum relay and the possible need for an override switch! Wish I had a camera. Let the boating season begin!

Which means increased potential for hurricane activity in the Southeast. Great. :(
