I thought it was a good idea to haul my 31 TE before Sandy. Now I second guess myself. Most of the boats here in Sheapsheadbay that remained in the water sustained less damage than the ones that were hauled. I am lookng to have my boat refinished. The damage is cosmetic but extensive. I am looking for a high quality guy in the N.Y. / L.I. to do the job. An recomendations would be appreciated.

Whereabouts are you looking? I am friendly with Danny at Senix Marina in Ctr Moriches but chances are that is a little east of where you want to be.. I can make a call or two if you can be more specific location-wise. Coecles Marine on Shelter Isl does some fine work too.

Previous owner of my boat had it painted here.
Many AOG members (rendezvous participants) have seen my Albin and all have always complimented the finish.
After many years it is still holding well.
