36-DC exhaust layout
My 36 w/Lehman 120 has the exhaust come out of the elbow pointing down, and then the hose runs along the floorboards, up the port side to just under the main deck, then into the aft cabin, through a straight-through muffler, then out the stern. While checking it out this fall I was able to pull it apart by hand it was so rotten where it lies on the floor. I assume that area always remains with water on the inside of the hose. Does anyone else have this configuration? All of the others I see have a water-lift muffler. If you have a picture I would appreciate it.
