Shower sump

Post by Yearwood »

Looks like the shower sump pump or float switch has failed. Any easy way to get it the cover off or the whole unit out. As I recall part of the sump is under the deck obscuring the cover screws.

I replaced the sump on Sonny III, it was directly under the cover in the cabin and came out easily. I would have just replaced the pump but found the whole unit on sale and went that route.

The 28TE shower pump should be easily accessed under the lift out hatch at the cabin sole. Here's a typical one and a nice clean bilge too!

Sonny III is a 28. :)

Sonny IV is a 35 - and the sump's in the same basic place.

Bilge is cleaner than mine. Pump is in the box.
