I have been trying to figure out how to download and use the RNC's from the Noaa website but just can't get it. Anybody able to walk me thru it? Do I need a special software on my computer? It talks about adobe 11 flashpoint, is that something also needed?
It seems to me that RNC's would be a good additional tool if I can download them and use when not conected to the internet.
Thanks,
Scott

Hi Scott,
I've been using Polarview. It's 50.00 and works very well with raster and vector charts. Someone mentioned here so I downloaded the trial. I now use it for all my routes and then transfer to my GPS.

Afterglow; Thanks for the reply. Is Polarview a software? Suggestions where I get it?
Thanks again,
Scott

Hi Scott,
Yes. Software. You can download a trial at http://www.polarnavy.com
I think the trial period is 30 days. After that, you have to purchase a license. It also "syncs" with ActiveCaptain for POI information.
