Post by Bobster »

Yahoo! I joined a few months ago after lurking for a long time- been looking at Albins for last 3 or 4 years.
Tomorrow is seatrial for my new 27 FC. YeeHah!

Seatrial was Splendid!! Merc D219 diesel is very smooth, fairly quiet, 15+ knots easily (not light boat).
I will keep you all informed re the Survey results- thanks for the support. Got my AOG burgee!

Happy Holidays Everyone!! I live in western NH but keep the Albin on Lake Champlain. The "Belle Harbor" 27 FC is mine now & in Colchester, VT. There are a few issues from the survey to deal with but the boat is looking good & a real runner. I am retired now & hope to pile the hours on it this summer. I will post some pics soon & thank you all for this great site! When I bought the boat it was at the Albin yard in Cos Cob & I did get to talk with Fred Peters. Its a nice spot down there.
