i got a cheap reverse action vacume cleaner. set it up to' blow' and out came the cadavers of bugs and other wierd things all the way back to 1993. ...

Good idea Tomcat. Other having mentioned that they use a Swiffer. I haven't tried either yet. That's spring cleaning for me.

What's the problem with just applying a burst of water from a hose to wash out "the pit"? Does water get into the cabin?

I've done this a couple of times in the past two years and have never noticed any moisture inside. ??
