Older Raymarine Autopilot and Tridata dead

Hi All,

So I got the boat back for the season and both units are dead, the 6001 autopilot and Tridata units (circa '03-'04). I only use the autopilot for rudder position as the pump died a few years ago. Any suggestions as to where to look? I started with the S1 Smartpilot, power and fuses appear to be good. Radar / Depth on the main unit is working too. I realize it's very old equipment but the lack of rudder position is driving me nuts.

Thanks,

Rob

Quick update. I have power going to the SeaTalk distribution block. Main coming in, one going to the RL70C head unit and the other buried, assuming it is going to the tridata by the shifter. I disconnected the small Seatalk jumper on the back of the RL70C, and plugged it in the autopilot. Both the autopilot and tridata powered up but but got a STCK FAIL. When I plugged either of the existing two SeaTalk cables into the other port on the 6001, I received NO PILOT. I am thinking the S1 Smartpilot is the culprit. Both the 2A and 15A fuses are good.
