SOLD: 1999 28’ TE with 330 Cummins
Sold but I cannot figure out how to delete this post.
Boat made safe passage from NJ to RI for a great new owner.
Pilothouse doors, new rebuilt engine in 2011 – approx. 900 hours on new engine. Bowthruster. New hydraulic steering cylinder in 2020, new (NOS) windlass in 2020, new dripless shaft seal in 2021. Black hull – looks great at beginning of season but does get chalky as year rolls along.
Boat has a Nextgen diesel generator that has not run in a number of years. Kubota engine turns – only about 80 lifetime hours and it is believed lack of use caused a fuel issue. Boat has reverse air/heat but this also stopped working shortly after the generator. Because neither was used they were not fixed because grief from spouse on spending money on something we don’t use was not worth it.
Old Furuno electronics 1650 chartplotter and 16 mile radar – radar screen only works for top 2/3 of screen so shows you what is ahead but not a stern. Lights, pumps, etc all work as intended.
Wife wants a boat that seats more people and has those quiet outboards. I would prefer sticking with what I know.
Boat located in Brick, NJ. Price to sell before I have to list it with a broker.
$25,000.
