See cruising thread for more on our post-rendezvous cruise
We ran across Dave and Denise (dkircher) in Blind Channel. Denise has logged many more miles, including going through the rapids. All despite the aforementioned engine difficulties. Never give up!

Greg, that was so well done! You should post it in the general discussion and/or the meet and greet subforum. I am sure Albineers far and wide would really enjoy your masterpiece. The PNW 2014 subforum is kind of buried in the site.

Thanks for posting the video on the home page. We had a great summer boating. I should put together a video of our crabbing trips. Of course I sent the camera down with the crab pot.
I will see if I have a couple of good still shots and send them in for calendar review.

Yes indeed, kudos for a great video! We had so much fun on our San Juans/Gulf Islands cruise this summer, which included the rendezvous at Roche Harbor. Glad to see a shot of our boat included in the video. All told, we spent 40 days on the water, logged 278 NM from our launching point at Squalicum Harbor in Bellingham. Islands visited in the San Juans included Lummi, Matia, Sucia, Stuart, Lopez, Orcas, Jones, and San Juan. After clearing Canadian customs in Sydney, stops we made in the Gulf Islands included Maple Bay and Ladysmith on Vancouver, Telegraph Harbour on Thetis, Winter Cove on Saturna, Montague Harbour on Galiano, Ganges Harbour on Salt Spring, Port Browning on N. Pender, Poet's Cove and Otter Bay on S. Pender.
We're now back to boating on our home lake, Lake Pleasant in Peoria, AZ. Our fall/winter boating season is just getting started, now that our weather has finally started cooling off to civilized levels and getting down to the kind weather we saw in the San Juans.
