Love that faucet!
What are we going to do about replacement sinks when the time comes? Can't find this size anywhere.

Be nice to your sink and it should last: My sink has no dents, no scratches and no damage after 19 years.
Same with head sink, looks good, be gentle and life is good.

Got the connectors from Scandvik today, (UPS ground was overnight, wow.. )
Hooked up, no leaks. All good.

Next project is the cabin and head flooring.
Got the original carpets, both unused and in good shape, but thinking more of fake decking, or foam like SeaDeck: SD came to the boat and measured, gave me a total estimate of about $850 including installation, taxes, etc using the same faux teak I have on the cockpit/wheel house.
Also considering this stuff: Any recommendations for low maintenance flooring, let me know.

Re: Modifications, repairs and improvements, 28TE
Time to clean the instrument and fuse panel:
Been lazy lately but these corona days I have plenty of time.
Been thinking about replacing the whole panel, all new stuff, breakers, no fuses and playing with the idea, but an expensive project in Fort Lauderdale: The best shop in town, Wards Marine Electronics cater to Mega Yachts (80 feet +)
The rest of us are paying Mega Yacht prices.
Before cleaning:
After cleaning: Used a soft toothbrush and “invisible glass” window cleaner.
Anybody have a source for the labels?
A few are beyond their due date, but hate to buy a kit of 100 labels just to replace 1 or 2.

Re: Modifications, repairs and improvements, 28TE
I've used exact sized "large labels" from Blue Sea Systems and ordered direct from them online. The site now says direct ordering is down and to order from a dealer .. I guess that works to.

Thx Kevin: I checked out the Large Labels, only one for Bilge Pump, hoping to find the original labels with a little opening for the red light.Pitou wrote: ↑Mon May 04, 2020 9:35 pm I've used exact sized "large labels" from Blue Sea Systems and ordered direct from them online. SeaDek looks nice.
If the size is right on the Blue Sea labels .. measure twice, punch once.

Yeah, a hole puncher would do the job.
Wife is an artist and former Creative Director at big advertising firms, she should be able to make me a couple of labels: Honey Dues for wifeys.

Descaled the Yanmar today: www.overheat.com charged $500 and did a good job from what I can tell. (All 5 coolers got cleaned as well as tubing, etc.)
They also have locations in New England and one in Spain.
