31TE Air Conditioning keeps tripping

There may be a check valve or siphon break in your system. That would keep the "backwards flow" method from working.

The unit being uphill from the waterline shouldn't matter, it's on the pressure side of the pump. But you could be air locked if the hose to the pump rises above the waterline.

After a couple busy weekends and a wedding in Newport, I finally got a chance to put her in the water and shoot water in through the through-hull, but had no success. I then took Nancy's suggestions and started working my way from hose clamp to hose clamp. water was flowing, pump is good but still no outlet of water. Once I had all the hoses off and blew in through one I turned on,, and we had flow, hooked back up and started flowing overboard. Thanks to all for the help, I was very close to calling for service, and Im very pleased that I did not. Onto the next hurdle. (fresh water supply stinks when I run the facets)
