I am a new member. Just joined. I have recently purchased a 2004 31 Albin with a home port in Anacortes WA. I would be interested in the NW rendezvous.

Welcome to the Albine Owner's Group!
Mariner and I have, as you might have noticed, shared several messages about where and when a rendezvous might occur in 2011, so I am glad you are interested. Mariner has suggested that we meet in Gig Harbor at Arabella's Landing. Since we have spent the night there, I agree that this is a great choice. I suggest that we look at September weekends after Labor Day. The crowds will be down, the weather is usually great and waiting until then will give us lots of time to plan and get out the word.
Do others agree?

Nancy and I would like to attend pending our fickle schedule permitting. We can commit towards the middle of August. We would be coming from just south of Bellingham.

We are new owners of a 31 Albin. We live in Anacortes and keep the boat at Anacortes Marina. Would like to meet up with you sometime if you are ever over this way.

Bill,
We spent most of our time north of here and the Queen Charlotte Islands. Next month we are going to a cruise in LaConner.

Any chance you might like to connect with the BC Albineers at our rendezvous in Roche Harbour September 10-11, 2011? You can check us out at

Mike and Penny,
That's a great idea. Mariner, do you agree that we could connect with the BC group instead of planning a separate rendezvous?

Dave,
Lets just schedule it and see who shows up. What specific date would you suggest? I am busy on and around Labor Day weekend, but otherwise, my September is wide open.

So far I've been able to understand the place will probably be Arabella's Landing in Gig Harbor but the date is not clear yet. Suzanne and I are now fully interested in attending after Labor Day. We also don't care if it's a weekend or not. Please let us know if there is a firm set of dates and if we need to do anything to confirm that we'll be there. Thanks.

Hi,
I might be interested. Was planning to drive back to Scottsdale after Labor Day. I'm moored at Elliott Bay Marina. We have an older 43' Albin Trawler.

dkircher: Looks like you are creating some intersts in the PNW RENDEZVOUS. Thought I had posted a willingness to help you. Let me know if there is sufficient intersts to get a plan together and what help if any you would like. Expect to be in place in Anacortes, Wa by mid Sept. whwells/ "Nibbles" boat name.

Hi Everyone,
There seems to be a renewed interest in a rendezvous this fall. Our personal schedule is very uncertain for the month. If there is a group interested in meeting in Gig Harbor as we discussed early on, perhaps that can happen later in the month or right at the beginning of October. We cruised to the south sound in early October last year. The weather was great and no crowds! Arabella's Landing is a good location. Mariner, how's your schedule?
