RicM,
I know positively that some of the bilge pumps are direct wired to the battery. They were part of the clutter of wires on the battery that I re-wired to a bus and then ran a single wire to the battery.
But, I haven't checked the individual wiring for each pump and float switch. Who knows how they were wired over the past 20 years with at least four P/Os working on the boat.
I'll get everything wired correctly and enter how things are wired in my logbook.
