One of my favorites is a cranberry and tequila gold (Mexicodder...made that up after about four of them....). Sounds awful , tastes great. Then again, I'm a fan of beer and chocolate chip cookies.

Just remembered my Kentucky Derby concoction - The Rye-Rita.
A great Julep Substitute: Mix as for a regular Margarita, but substitute a good Rye Whisky for the Tequila. Serve over crushed ice, with the traditional sprig of mint garnish (no leaves in the mix). Quite moor-ish on a hot, humid day.
