Owner's manual for Yanmar diesels

Post by Mike Ebert »

I bought a used 31TE with twin Yanmar 6LP-STE. The boat came with factory info on everything in the boat but the engines.

I checked with the local dealer and was told an owner's manual was $300 and they didn't think it was worth buying. Never having had a diesel before, I would at least like to read it once so I don't screw them up. Ran it all last year with no problems though.

I check e-bay from time to time and haven't been able to find one. Any suggestions or does anyone have it in a .pdf file that can be forwarded?

Thanks.

This link was supplied by daddy, 19 nov 2007, on the YS forum of the Yanmar help site. Try http://yanmarhelp.com/index.htm

The normal link to the help site is being intercepted by Yahoo. Suspect that it is a simular problem to that reported in the March issue of PCWorld of Yahoo's relationship with some sites...

Good luck,

I just got the operations manual (not including the parts manual and technical manual) for $20+shipping from our local yanmar mechanic.

I sort of misplaced our original manual somewhere in the abyss of our home

Oh, and those electronic copies are valuable too....thanks!
