Need awlgripper in Boston area

Post by Legacy »

Yep, I made up that word. But if anyone knows an experienced and competent awlgrip painting resource in the general Boston area, appreciate any references. Thanks and Happy New Year!

I'm looking too. My latest quote was 200.00 per foot.

I bought my boat in Marblehead, MA and the Awlgrip was done there and it is beautiful. Marblehead trading Company I think? If your interested I can call the previous owner for you. I know it's not Boston but not too far. Denis

I think the $200 per linear foot is pretty standard - - of course that's just for the hull, doing the topside is about 2X that much.

Hate to go get the hull done for $7K or $8K and then rub it first time docking!

Happy New Year.

I have always heard good things regarding Marblehead Trading / they were the 1st to come to mind. A bit further north both Manchester Marine in Manchester and Cape Ann Marina in Gloucestrer have put in state of the art spray booth facilities.
