I busted my butt to finish cleaning up my yard on Saturday so that I wouldn't have to worry about anything getting buried under the blanket of snow that was coming on Sunday.

It's ALL gone!

And yes, unlike many, I'm with you Ric, I like it too! Bring on the winter!!

The attachment modification doesn't support it so I went back to the original. I figured you guys would rather have the ability to attach files.
So, post some pictures of your snowfalls.

Ok, I feel dumb...

:)

But I still want to know where MY snow went.

The snow on the forum - didn't care too much for that.

No, No, SLU (that's Still Laughing Uproariously), I'm the dumb f*^#. God! could I get anymore self absorbed!
I'm really sorry!
Monday I got to work and the water heater had let go over the wkend. Water everywhere!
Tuesaday I went out to get in the car and I had a flat tire.
Sunday I was out with me mum and it's obvious that she ain't just eccentric no more.
I've got no dock to run to brothers & sisters, she's up on the hard for 4 more months!
I just wondered where the snow was on the forum page.

You guys already have the winter wackys, it's way too early for that. You usually don't see this kind of behavior until Feb. or so. I don't mind the snow on the ground and I didn't mind the snow on the web site, I like both.
Im finally getting down to the boat to cover it this weekend. It is supposed to be in the mid fortys on Saturday so Im getting my window of opportunity. Denis

RicM,
I was looking at old posts last night. Wasn't it around this time last year you were all excited about the new boat? I get grumpy this time of year. Your right. All the little things that melt away when you hear the engine start. Up until Christmas it's too much to do to get bored. But, In Jan. and Feb. it's a different story.

Denis - I'm covering mine this weekend too. <sigh>

Last Year

Post by RicM »

Yes, and I am still xcited about my new boat. You really read old posts, huh? Anyway, I just always seem to have angst this time of year. Last year my car got stolen right out of my driveway a week before Christmas. Got it back but they cracked it up. This year the technical glitches seem to be everywhere. I didn't go into the server that crashed and took everything on it away to never never land. We've had a tough year, both Karen & my Mom have started with serious "cognitive" problems, and that's the really difficult thing to cope with, watching someone you love turn into someone else right before your eyes. During the season I (we) had the boat to run to, even if I just went down to the dock, turned off the cell and took a nap. It really saved my sanity at times. I know that this too will pass, it's just getting through the dark months.
