Deck and hull construction
I am considering buying a 1988 36' Albin Trawler. I would like to know what the construction of the hull and deck are. Is it solid fiberglass or is there a wood core?

Re: Deck and hull construction
Molly, a '79 Albin 36 trawler, has plywood cored decks and solid fiberglass laminate in the hull.

Here's the deck plug I removed when drilling a hole for a pump out deck fitting. Order from top to bottom: teak decking, fiberglass deck skin, plywood core, fiberglass bottom skin.
