We just purchased a 28te (2001, engine box, Yanmar) and expect to get it in the water in a week or so. My wife and have been sailors for the past 30 years, the last 10 on an Ericson 35III. Looking forward to travelling at three times hull speed. We cruise the Northumberland Strait from Cape Breton to the Baie Chaleur but hope to expand our region to Quebec City and Newfoundland. This group is full of friendly, experienced folks. I hope to learn a lot from the group.

I cruise at 13 knots @ 2900 RPM burning 5 gallons per hour. This is 3 miles per gallon. Keep your fuel filters changed annually.
