We got to take boat down the Saint John River to Sanford Fl, about 40 miles from Astor. If you are not familiar with our river please come visit, it for the most part looks like Florida did from the misty way back. Sanford puts on a great fireworks show, and has an Old Town a very short walk from city docks. We found a most excellent German Pub. band and lots of refreshments. Band had many types of different instruments, including a guy who played a saw. We tied up on the sea wall, got our lawn chairs out and had front row seats for all the festivities. Wish you all could have joined.
