ZF220A Oil Change

The drain plug is a 22mm hex head.

The 36mm hex head for the magnet and screen is a shallow aluminum head. Modifying a socket to remove the chamfer creates a much more positive fit with increased contact area of the socket walls to the nut thus offering great protection from rounding that aluminum hex head. To modify the socket I hit the perimeter first with a bench grinder and then finished her up on a belt sander.

To remove the nut I had the room to use a 24" breaker bar so between that my modified socket it was a win win and came out without having to lean into it at all.
