Chesapeake Info.

Post by StockHR »

Just took a week vacation and cruised to the Hyatt Marina and Hotel located in Cambridge Maryland on the Choptank River. A great place to visit and enjoy all the Hyatt has to offer. For those members who cruise the Chesapeake you will be glad to know that the Kent Narrows channel is back to normal with plenty of water after having been dredged this past winter. Also went through Knapp’s Narrows that has also been recently dredged and at dead low tide had 7.5 to 9.0 feet of water.

Lastly, as we approached the Rt. 50 Bridge at Cambridge on 7/16 in the distance I noticed an Albin 34. I couldn’t make out the boat’s name and tried to reach them by radio but got no response. I’m wondering if the 34 (like ours) is owned by a member of this forum.

Mike,
Thanks for the update. The Choptank is a beautiful river. Did you go all the way into Denton? That's a great ride.

Never made it to Denton. Once we got to the Hyatt and spent time lounging at the pool there was no reason to go any where else.
