It *looks like* you have a Racor 500 fuel filter - An excellent unit, BTW. Racor makes a vacuum gauge for that filter which replaces the Tee handle that holds the top on the filter. It is specifically calibrated to tell you when you need to change the element in the filter

Thanks Don! Just ordered it. Please feel free to comment on the snakes nest that is my engine compartment. I just redid the sound proofing on the covers after throwing up my hands. I'm sure thankful that you guys are out there. I can't imagine going this alone.
