Annual Boat Show Social

Hi all,

It is getting close enough to the 2016 Seattle Boat Show to propose a date and time for us all to meet for conversation, dinner and rendezvous planning.

The boat show social has usually been on a Friday. I suggest that we go with the second Friday, unless others object. In the past, folks liked having dinner at the brew pub across the street from the show.

Let me know if you can join us. Once I have your comments, I'll post some details.

This far out, I am good for any date. Boat show is always fun and we often make it a family event, so I may bring down a few "Albin" Family. I think my dad would love it!

I am not sure what the dates are yet for the show. Can you let me know which Friday you are considering?

The boat show is from January 29 to February 6, 2016.

I am proposing that we meet for drinks and dinner on Friday, February 5th at about 6 pm. If that date works for folks, I'll make reservations.

Mike Almvig: You suggested a couple different weeks for the LaConnor Rendezvous in July. Assume you will be at the Social at the Seattle Boat Show and the dates will be worked out. Wondering if either of the two weeks is better for you as our leader this year? Dave and I and probably John will be happy to help. Let us know your needs. I think we are fixed on the Last Friday of the Seattle Boat Show for Social. Dave and I will be over at the On The Water portion of the show on Thursday afternoon and then at the downtown inside show on Friday at least in the afternoon. MIKE ALMVIG: We appreciate your stepping up to the Cordinator position for this years La Connor PNW rendezvous. You will have lots of fun with this fine group and Dave & I will be happy to assist in anyway requested. Looking forward to meeting you at the Social in Seattle. My Sabre will be there just across from the on the Water Show. Hope to sell this summer and return to my favorite boat any great Albin. The Sabre is wonderful but it don't fish like an Albin.
