Yep, that's the plan I am going with. Need to add another D/C jumper from 2 to 3, then run 1 main feed to the house batteries, use the Echo or BOTH to charge the starter battery for now. If that doesn't work, a new charger will be on my shopping list.

Rewired the Protech 4 so that the only feed is directly to the house battery(s). Voltage jumped to 13.5V on the shore power, so the charger is working but as I found on the web, it can't charge independently. The starting battery is on the echo charge, with alternator backup set on BOTH.
I will live with it for now until I feel like updating the Pro Mariner charger.
The good news, I've been in the water for less than a month and have clocked 25 hours, over 200 miles. I love being on the boat!
