I need to carry a spare alternator belt but I find it hard to read the belt number.
Does anyone know the modern type number equivalent?

Hi Sprig, no not yet. All help welcome.
As a last ditch try I have run a tape over the outside of the belt in situ and it is 56.75" and it looks like a regular A type belt. The existing belt looks fine but I like to carry a spare.

Hi I didn't get to the boat. But checked the the spare 4d61 in the garage the belt on that one is Napa # xl 25-11485/9451. I don't know if this helps. The best thing is to take the belt off and go to Napa and have them measure it on there belt measurer. The motor in my garage is from an Alden sailboat it looks identical to the one in the albin 27fc. Sorry about so long in getting back.
