Desert Albin debuts at Lake Pleasant Sailing Club raftup

Post by DesertAlbin736 »

We've yet to pick a new name for our Albin 25, but we did make a debut appearance with our Lake Pleasant (AZ) Sailing Club friends at a weekend raftup with 7 other boats and beach camp out event. Lots of compliments on our "new" boat, being forgiven for crossing over to the "dark side" since this boat is technically a motor-sailer even though the rig is not installed.

Other participating boats included a Seaward 26, two Catalina 30's, Laguna 26, Catalina 22 MkII, O'Day 270, an early model Catalina 22, plus an O'Day 25 and a 2nd Catalina 22 MkII that chose to anchor separately.

Looks great. She looks like she is hiding among the sail boats.
