My Carling raw water switch is broken and I've not been able to find one locally. I'm including a picture. Any ideas what Carling model number this is? Or an equivalent replacement? As usual, thanks in advance for your continued support.

Is there some reason you want the exact same switch? Most SPST (Single Pole / Single Throw) toggle switches should fit the hole and the application.

Wanted one with the little rubber boot over it so it would look the same, that's all.

McMaster Carr online. Any switch style you can think of, with or without condom.

There are a bunch of makers that provide the boot, it's pretty common. My local West Marine has a variety of them. Or, follow Jay's source if you're not in a hurry.

The problem I had with local sources is that they were all a little too big. The switch looked fine but it wouldn't fit behind the panel. If you find a part #/source let me know. My switches work, but some of them now don't match.

Mike,
Thanks. I'll order it today. Like John, the one I did find would not fit with the fuse wire so close. This site is great!

That was the only place I could find the right switch for my stern thruster. But you know how it goes, I ordered two so I'd have a spare just in case, but I have no clue where I put it. Too many hiding places on a 40 foot boat!!

As usual, this page had the answer. Used the radio shack reference from Mike above and have them in hand (spares included). Another issue successfully resolved!! Thanks to All!
