After having spent last winter getting up close with Whiskey One during her refurb, I thought I would tackle something on a smaller scale this winter.
I have done numerous half hulls of historic sailing craft but never attempted a powerboat. The hull by itself just doesn't make it so I went with a half model. Scale is 1/2 inch to the ft., topsides and hull are basswood, waterline and skeg are Paduak, bottom and trim is mahogany, and windows and ports are teak. Have not found the right place among the half hulls to mount this model but we former sailors are slow to come around to this powerboat thing!
