I am looking at an 27 albin with a bmw/mercruiser diesel engine.. I understand that the BMW part of the engine you cannot get parts for ... What say you all.... Are parts available for this engine? thank you

This is interesting to me, I had no clue a BMW Diesel had ever been marinised. Is it a stern drive that has been adapted to the boat or a true inboard. In the mid 80s when I was a BMW automobile tech. I saw a 6 cyl. Gas engine that had been converted to a stern drive but never was sold on the US market. It was at BMW of north america Hq in Montvale NJ Joe
