I edited your post. Your refrigerator was laying on it's side. :D

A strip of black starboard with a 1/4" radius routered edge on the top and sides would be a simple fix. Go see Tim at Islandwide Plastics in Bayport. He's got all shapes and sizes and he can cut and router it for you. Tell him your friend was just in with his dash panel

I have used Tim before and thanks for the advice. I cut some moulding this afternoon and I will see how that works out. With the fridge laying on its side makes to easier to get the brews out.

the fridge in the 28TE

My original fridge would not come on one summer. I looked at buying a replacement, but when at the boat yard I asked Luke if he could get it working. Seems there is also a switch in the fridge that some well meaning soul had turned off. Luke turned it on and now the Fridge works fine.

Rob, I saw your buddy Tim at the boat show. He does remember you well. In regard to Dudley, don't you hate it "when those well meaning souls" try to help. My fridge worked, but I wanted ac/dc. I have an issue with running appliances off of the battery. Temporarily or underway, ok.

Which model did you decide on? Did you decide on AC/DC or just DC?
