43' Albin Trawler in Seattle

Post by edgarcia737 »

Hello everyone,
My wife and I are taking delivery of our 1982 43' Albin Trawler. We have lots of work to do but are very excited. I'm moving her tomorrow from it's current dock in Anacortes to her new home in Seattle.

Looking forward to lots of boating next season.

Hello and welcome to AOG. You bought a really nice boat. You could probably live on a 43' with some real confort. So how went the trip to Seattle? I will be in your old grounds in Anacortres if ever the boat gets out here from eastern Canada. It has been hung up with Irene related transport issues. Slips are hard to find in the Anacortes area. Assume you had good connections down in Seattle. Don't recall seeing pictures of the 43 size Albin. Can you post some for us. Happy Boating.

Hello there, I dont know how to post pictures using my iPad. We were living aboard until just a few days ago. It was the best summer we have ever had. We still have a bit of work to do but we are gaining on it. My parents (who gave us the boat) are living in Anacortes. So we go up there quite frequently.

I'll post some pics soon.

Nice shot. Is that flash over the bow supposed to be a halo?

That looks like a shot from a brochure. From where was it taken? Plane or helicopter? I notice a picture frame in the bottom left corner of the picture. I guess it's a framed photo hanging on the wall, very cool!

My mom had the picture taken from a helicopter. So she took a picture of a picture and sent it to me. They were cruising from Poulsbo back to Anacortes.

Hello there, I also have a 1983 sundeck 43. My wife and I enjoy every moment on the boat so I'm sure you will also. Good luck with her. We are on the east coast of Canada.
