If you were to replicate what I've done, there are a number of important steps to take, not listed or shown in the above post. Those pics are obsolete. I ended up finishing the entire project last spring. At the '11 NE Boat Show, I told Ken Hilton what I was up to and he said it was probably the single best enhancement one could make to a flush deck model. I'd be happy to describe the whole process in detail if interested. Please send a PM.
