Hi to everyone. Still negogiating the purchase of an Albin 40, 1988. If anyone has any info, warnings etc. I would appreciate the input. Hope to come to terms soon and get on the water this fall. Pretty green at boat handling, but extensive offshore experience as mate and deck hand. Boat I'm considering has window leak problems and veneer damage. Told it would run up to 12K to replace portlights and windows etc. Will have survey once I settle on price. Good to be here, and look forward to learning, and most important, making new friends in the boating community.

Lots of info available here....read up in the classics section. Then ask to fill in the gaps.
Happy hunting.
