New boat - New member

Post by Jack Sullivan »

My wife and I recently purchased a 28TE. This is our first power boat. We were sailors for a number of years, and consider this a way for us to 'remain on the water'. I have visited a few of the forums looking to be educated about the 'dark side' (a quote from a number of members of the yacht club that we belong to). These forums seem to be a great way for a new owners to get familar with the boat.
We live in Conn., a short distance from the Sound. So we'll be in all the usual places on the Sound with this boat - no, wait a minute we'll be in more places with this boat. Our sail boat drew 7'6'' so we'll be in a whole bunch of new places as well.
