Glad to actually join! We've been lurking on this site for a month or so, but signed the papers over the weekend making us official Albin owners. We 're upgrading from a 18 :D ft. Lund (hubby's duck boat) to a 1989 32 Sportfish. Quite a step up. The boat is currently in New Bedford, Mass. where we purchased her. We hope to bring her up to our marina in Deep River, Ct. within the next week or two, as she is getting some repairs and upgrades done. It will be a long shakedown cruise for us- we estimate 5-6 hours. We can't wait to get her home though.

Welcome to AOG. Sounds like your first cruise will be a nice long one. Nothing like bringing home the new toy!
Post some pictures. We like pictures.

Hi everyone, We are looking forward to our maiden voyage, hopefully this weekend. And, we would like to attend the gathering at EIM in July, just waiting on confirmation of vacation dates at work. Due to the high cost of dockage we were thinking of anchoring across the river at Nott Island and coming by dingy. Any thoughts on that plan? See you onthe water :!: ...Ty
