Hi all. Every year I change what "house drink" I serve aboard Legacy. Yes, it's true, on rare occasions sometimes an alcoholic beverage is consumed on a boat. Ideas and recipes welcome for an easy and refreshing cocktail. And of course, the winning recipe is bestowed all honors and credit aboard my ship!

Re: This year's boat drink?
We drink Arnold Palmers, 1/3 iced tea, 1/3 freshly squeezed lemonade and 1/3 Stoli. The secret is a teaspoon of Country Time powder. Shake it and throw a splash of tonic in there and you're in heaven.

Re: This year's boat drink?
Here is one that proved to be very popular........ maybe because I was making them????
It is called an "Attitude Adjuster"
Pineapple juice, OJ, white Rum and grenadine for color. Over ice of course.
Enjoy

Re: This year's boat drink?
Our favorite: (low calorie too!!)
Santosha Punch
Ice in a large plastic cup
Vodka
Lime wedge
Half Ocean Spray Cran-Rasberry (light or regular)
Half Fresca (yes, Fresca!) (no calorie)
Refreshing, light, and a great summer punch.....try it!
You can even make it "virgin" if necessary.

How about a Moscow Mule the antithesis to the dark and stormy,
Vodka, Ginger Beer, and fresh squeezed Lime.....delicious, fast, and refreshingly light those hot summer nights

Champagne Sangria
Bottle of champagne. Bottle of dry red wine. Mix into pitcher.
sliced orange, lime, lemon (whatever you have)
diced pear, strawberries
little brandy (if you like it)
Cup or so of Peach schnapps.
Plenty of ice.
Enjoy!

Re: This year's boat drink?
For some reason the drink of choice on Nordvika this year has been the Mimosa. But I like the "attitude adjustment". That sounds tasty.
