Engine Noise

Post by jumpjet231 »

Has anyone on here added additional soundproofing below decks to their 28TE. I was looking at a couple products online and it looks promising.

I had used a sticky back rubber product with aluminum facing was only about 3/8 think to cut down sound & vibrations in my Vette.Helped quite a bit. Got it in Home depot by the roll about 20"x 15 ft rolls. I I am actually thinking of putting around the rear compartment were the Diesel Generator was recently installed. I am sure if I line the areas sorrounding Genny It will cut back noise & moreso vibrations some what. Very easy to cut & stick on but I am sure there is something thicker around.. Good luck

There is a product named "Soundown" that is popular. www.soundown.com
It's been on my "todo" list for a few years. :)
