air clearance

Does anyone know the air clearance of a 1979 Albin 36 with the mast up? I need to go under a bridge with 24 feet clearance and I am wondering if I will make it or take down the mast.

The best thing I can suggest is to construct a cheap. lightweight, wooden frame that is 24' tall, and wide enough to fit around your boat. Then, with the help of a deckhand align the bottom of the frame with the surface of the water, and see if it will clear the top of the boat.

My guess? 24' is pretty high. I'd be surprised if a 36' powerboat wouldn't fit under it.

Well I was able to push a wide tape measure up the mast to the anchor lite. Then measure from the upper deck to the water line. I came up with 22'. So I should be able to get under 24 foot bridge without any problems.
