Offer acceped on 40 NSC

Post by Comina »

Just had my offer accepted on a 40 NSC in Florida. Haven't surveyed yet, but for sure looking to replace the coil burner electric cooktop as well as helm door hardware. Any other tips / problem spots for survey? The boat seems to have been very well maintained over the years. Any suggestions appreciated!!! Tim

I've moved your post to a new topic as the most recent message in the thread where you posted was from 2008.

Hi Tim,

Welcome to the the very small world of NSC 40 owners...I think there are only 14 of us.

I have most of the manuals that came with the boat so don't hesitate to reach out. My door hardware was replaced so I don't know what the original hardware was like. The doors are a constant problem. Various weird leaks are another constant.

I'm currently getting mine ready for a mid May start going to Alaska this year.
