Windlass advice 27FC

Post by ltgoshen »

I know this is an old thread. I have a quick question.I'm hoping somebody can answer me when you add a win.List to the twenty seven family cruiser.Did you have to severely alter the bow to accept the wind list?My baltis teak lattice, and it seems like it's too close to the bulkhead. To accept a wind list, please advise.

Hi ltgoshen --
I've moved your post to a new thread to get some advice on your windlass question.

We installed a Lewmar Pro Fish 1000 on our A27. I didn't trust the original teak pulpit and replaced it with a salvagled pulpit from an early '90's era Sea Ray. We sometimes fish/anchor in deeper waters and chose to increase the volume of the chain locker as well.
