Any A25 owners near Stuart, Jupiter, Florida area?

Post by real550A »

Having sold my 27FC a few years ago, memories of cruising the ICW and anchoring out along the way have been creeping back into my head I really miss the good times I had in the Albin.
Just curious if there's an A25 owner not too far away, who would allow me to just step aboard to get a feel for the boat? I think a 25 would be much easier for me to trailer, launch, and store, and should be plenty big to take a couple guests for an overnight, or three.
Thanks in advance to anyone who has the boat and time to show it! Mike (former caretaker of Little Lady 27FC)

Our 1971 A25 that we sold in September of 2024 ended up in Loxahatcee, FL, 27 miles inland from West Palm Beach and about 40 miles south of Stuart. Long story short, the Carson City, NV boomer couple who bought it ended up deciding they had bitten off more than they could chew and gave it to their 50 something retired Navy CPO in Loxahachee. They trailered it from NV to FL where it's at now. I haven't kept in touch with them since & don't know what's happening with the boat now. This new owner is not an experienced trailer sailor, so I don't know if he plans to keep and use it or end up selling it. Keep and eye on listings for the Palm Beach area.

DA - Sorry to hear about Dolce Vita's fate. I know from your posts that you put a LOT of TLC into making her a legendary cruiser on the AOG, and it's disappointing to read that she is currently in limbo. You may have to buy her back and hit the road again.

Thanks, DA & DC, I will definitely be on the lookout locally, would love a shot at La Dolce Vita! Have followed many of your posts & videos. Love what you did with that boat! Patiently looking & learning. Mike
