Grip or Handle for sliding windows

Has anyone come up with a solution for sliding the windows on the 28TE. My handles fell off and I haven't been able to find a way to secure them to the window. I did try various forms of glue, but no sticky. I have been using suction cups from Sea Sucker to move them. Also my handles are MIA. Any ideas on what to replace them with?

I don't actually have handles on mine at all. I was having issues opening the windows that way so I forced them open and sprayed the window tracks with liquid rollers. It's a product used to spray onto the bunks of trailers to make them slicker. Now I don't need handles as the windows open super easy.

These el' cheapo finger pulls were OEM on my 2000 28TE and they held up for 12 years. I replaced them with the same. The adhesive backing is plenty strong, just clean the glass prior to sticking them on.

Google "F 2550 finger pull" and you'll find a few purchase options.

I lubed the window tracks with sailkote, it's a dry lubricant so all stays clean.

Most glass (repair) companies have these in stock; I purchased clear ones vs the black. They look great.

If you can't find locally and resort to Googling that same vendor I posted offers the clear and gold in addition to the black:

F 2549 - clear
F 2550 - black
F 2551 - gold

Thanks for this post. I have tried a number of adhesives to reinstall my window pulls to no avail. Good to know you can get new ones at a reasonable price with the proper adhesive. I found them on Amazon as well as Home Depot. I'll include them in my next Amazon order!

About spraying your sliding windows so that "they open super easy" and you don't need handles - watch them carefully when out in "sporty" seas. You may find them sliding open all by themselves and letting some of that sportiness inside!

Lol I usually latch then close in sporty seas but they seem to stay closed when i forget, lol. Despite the name the liquid rollers don't drip down the glass or leave a residue on the glass that is visible.

Sporty Seas, interesting description of when water breaks over the bow. I have always had other words to describe sea conditions that were unfavorable. I ordered my window grips on Amazon. They should arrive just in time to close the windows in those unsportsmanlike scenarios.

I don't seem to have an issue and don't have any handles fitted. I had one window become difficult to slide due to algae growing on the seals but once it was cleaned properly I put some washing up liquid on the seals and now they slide open even easier. It seems to stop the algae growth too.
